Service Description
Recommended: prior wheel experience Level-up your throwing skills in this 4-week intensive, "Wheel Throwing Fundamentals - Intensive Bootcamp". This process-driven course is designed to help you grow through repetition and hands-on practice, without the pressure of finishing work, glazing, or firing. We will focus on refining technique to expertly execute foundational forms including cylinders, bowls, and vases. Through guided demos and drills, students will work towards improving consistency, increasing efficiency, developing the control and confidence to fearlessly tackle any project. Pots will not be kept or fired as a part of this course. Clay will be reclaimed and reworked to maximize practice time. Prior wheel experience is recommended, but no need to be an expert. Whether you’re looking to break through frustrating plateaus or build a stronger throwing foundation, this course will provide the structure and support to help you progress. Come ready to throw, learn, and grow! Class cost - $185 Clay packages cost $45 and are available for purchase at the time of the first class. Students receive 10 hours outside of class to practice in the studio! Places are limited, your spot is confirmed upon payment. Mondays 10:30am - 1:30pm Oct 13 - Nov 3
Cancellation Policy
Clay space reserves the right to cancel any workshop or class for good cause, including but not limited to: lack of sign-ups, illness of instructor, extreme weather conditions, etc. If a class or workshop is cancelled by Clay Space, we will refund payment. We offer full refunds for cancellations made more than 10 days out from a class or workshop and 50% refunds made between 5 and 10 days before a class or workshop. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of a class or workshop. All refunds are for the designated amount minus the services fee charged to us. To cancel your class or workshop reservation, please email us at office@clayspaceeugene.org to receive a refund.
