MEMBERSHIP
AT CLAY SPACE
We recommend that customers interested in a Clay Space membership take a handbuilding or wheel class before becoming a member. This provides an opportunity to develop or refresh your skills, learn the flow of the studio, and get to know an instructor and some other members of our community before becoming a member. We want members to be able to work safely and independently in the studio.
If you have taken a ceramics class in a studio or educational institute within the last 1 1/2 – 2 years and have reached a certain level of experience and proficiency, you may apply for a Clay Space membership without taking a class in advance.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
General Membership includes access to the studio during open business hours, discounts on two class sessions per year, workshops, and stoneware clay purchasing. They receive early class registration notification and one locker and wareboard with an option to rent an additional wareboard (if available). Members have a 2 hour membership commitment involving monthly tasks at the studio. General Members also receive access to the studio on Sundays during the Members-Only studio hours and are invited to Clay Space social events.

10-PACK MEMBERSHIP
10-Pack members receive 10 passes to work at the studio during open studio hours. 10-Packs are effective for one year from the date of issue and can be renewed when all 10 spots are filled.
They also receive a studio storage box and shared, community wareboard space. A membership meeting is required to receive the first 10-Pack.

FIRING MEMBERSHIP
Clay Space offers two levels of Firing Membership: Basic and Production. This membership option is available to previous students or members of Clay Space. Firing Members have a 1 hour membership commitment involving monthly tasks at the studio.
A Basic Firing Membership includes up to two glazing station reservations per month to use the studio glazes and firing services.
$55 per month
A Production Firing Membership includes up to four glazing station reservations per month to use the studio glazes and firing services.
$85 per month
STUDENT LEVEL
Student level includes the cost of a class, 10 hours per week of extra studio time to practice outside of class, a wareboard and a locker.
Registrations opens 3 weeks before the first class.
PRIVATE STUDIO MEMBERSHIP
Private Studio Membership includes 24/7 access to the studio, a private studio space, and discounts on classes, workshops, and stoneware clay purchasing. Members have a 2 hour membership commitment involving monthly tasks at the studio. Private Studio Members also receive access to the studio on Sundays during Members-Only studio hours. They are also invited to Clay Space social events.
