Beginning level welcome, no experience necessary. Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant Mexican holiday that celebrates and honors the lives of deceased loved ones. It's a time for families and friends to welcome back the spirits of those who have passed away. Artist and instructor, Katie Schiltz, will help you add your own attachments to your design. Be a little more creative by adding eyes, big ears, hair, or hats of all kinds! Creatures, animal characters, scary or funny, based on friends or famous artists... the ideas are endless! Lastly, you will glaze with Stroke and Coat and finish off your fantastic creation! The skulls will be fired and ready for pick up before the actual date of the Day of the Dead holiday. Hang them on the wall, and enjoy! All materials and equipment will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own tools. Ages 16+ *Discounts cannot be applied to this workshop.
